The DEWALT DCD996 XR Brushless Combi Drill has a tough three-speed all-metal transmission for increased runtime and longer tool life. It features an improved automatic high speed for increasing masonry drilling speed.

The electronic clutch has an 11-position adjustable torque control for optimised precision when screw driving. The hammer drill driver has a 13mm ratcheting keyless chuck with an automatic spindle lock for fast bit changes, and an efficient intelligent trigger allowing total control over all applications.

With an improved 3-position LED torch with high/medium/low settings. The high output provides a 20-minute LED delay for lighting dark workspaces. The grip design provides greater application control and maximum comfort.
